GOLITE COAL 71

The COAL 71 is a re-release from GO LITE, a brand that led the UL (ultralight) scene in the 90s.

The COAL was a popular model in GO LITE's outerwear lineup, and this version faithfully recreates the original while incorporating the latest materials.

The jacket features CLIMASHIELD, an innovative insulation material.

The outer fabric is made of ultra-thin 10-denier nylon ARGON67 from DUTCHWARE, a company based in Pennsylvania, USA. It is ultralight, highly windproof, and flexible.

The inner mesh material uses CLOUD71, an ultralight material from DUTCHWARE, which also manufactures hammocks. This allows you to see the insulation, creating a visually interesting effect while directly experiencing the warmth of the CLIMASHIELD.

The boxy silhouette with a wide body and roomy armholes retains the classic American feel. You can easily layer with fleece or thick sweatshirts underneath.

■CLIMASHIELD:
This material achieves high heat retention thanks to its unique fiber structure. It's easy to care for at home, and unlike down, it doesn't absorb moisture, so its insulation performance isn't affected by rain.
In 2013, it replaced PRIMALOFT in the "LEVEL 7 jacket" of the US Army's "GEN 3 ECWCS" for extremely cold regions, and it is also used by ACRONYM, the pinnacle of techwear, and various outdoor brands.
