This book comes with extra postcard & Hap Halloran signature. This book is in MINT condition with NO tears, stains, or markings on any of the pages!!! This book appears to never have been read.

Hap’s war began in earnest at about 3 P.M. ok January 27, 1945, when Navigwtor Ray “Hap” Halloran were shot down over Tokyo. The 5 survivors of the “shoot down”became “Special” prisoners at the most notorious Prisoner of War Camp in World War II.

In 1984 Hap went back to Japan to find & erase some of his horrible memories. He had become a too executive with one of the countries largest motor fright carriers, Consolidated Freightways, of California. The visit worked, & he met & became friends to many leading Japanese citizens, including the man who was credited with shooting his plane down.
